There are many different board bags on the market today. From simple day bags to coffins for multiple boards. But there are some alternatives to the common board bags.
Here are a few examples of new creative ways to transport your surfboard:
1 INFLATABLE SURFBOARD BAG
Board bag that offers more protection by adding inflatable chambers. In their promotional video they jump on it and even run it over with their motor, leaving the board intact. Great alternative if you’re looking for something different.
2 ADJUSTABLE SURFBOARD BAG
Adjustable board bag that can be adjusted over a foot in length. It can hold two boards and has removable wheels. Great if you have multiple boards of different lengths and only want one board bag.
3 SURFBOARD BAG WITH TENT
Surfboard bag that doubles as a tent (see featured image). It’s a padded case that can carry up to four surfboards. To use as a shelter you just open the bag, pull out the tent and set it up with zippers and pegs. It comes in a variety of board sizes and is reasonably cheap (£170).
4 SURFBOARD CASE
Hard Surfboard case to protect 2-3 surfboards inside. It has heavy duty wheels and large grab handles. Not very lightweight but it will surely protect your surfboard against over-enthusiastic luggage handlers.
